Vale do Lobo Tennis Academy

Information 

 

The Vale do Lobo Tennis Academy is one of the largest tennis facilities in Portugal and is surely one of the most beautiful places to play tennis. 

There is a busy year-round programme of individual and group coaching; tournaments, both national and international; social match days and other experiences.

It offers a total of 20 courts, for tennis and padel. There are also further on-site amenities as mentioned below: 

• 8 hard courts (4 floodlit)
• 4 artificial astro clay courts (all floodlit)
• 8 padel courts (all floodlit)
• Outdoor Heated Swimming pool
• Fitness Gym
• Private group Classes, hitting sessions
• Padel & Tennis clinics and tournaments available

MEMBERSHIPS

As well as Annual memberships of the Academy, there is also a Weekly Membership which may be of interest to rental clients.

The benefits include:

• Use of the Tennis and Padel courts;
• Use of the Gym;
• Use of the Outdoor Heated Swimming Pool;  
• 5% discount available for tennis and padel lessons;
• Use of a 'floodlit' court is discounted at 5 euros per hour;
• Access to Social Tournaments is available at 10 euros

WEEKLY MEMBERSHIP PRICES

• An Individual visitor membership is 173 Euros per week
• A Couple membership is 277 Euros per week
• A Junior (18-22 years) is 122 Euros per week
• A Junior (under 18 years) is 87 Euros per week

With the memberships, members can book for one hour tennis/padel per day, but this may be extended depending on court availability. Please note that particularly in the summer peak season, the Academy gets very busy so booking is essential.

The Vale do Lobo Tennis Academy also reserves the right to book all courts during major events or to limit usage dependent on need.

SMASH RESTAURANT & SMASH SPORTS BAR

Located at the Vale do Lobo Tennis Academy,  SMASH is a new and charming family friendly restaurant with an attractive modern decor and a diverse menu with salads, fresh poké bowls, and tasty pizza and pasta dishes.

Managed by Vale do Lobo, the restaurant benefits from two terraces to enjoy some al fresco dining, as well as an indoor area with views of the tennis courts and surrounding garden.

The restaurant is open from 17.00 hrs to 23.00 hrs

The adjacent SMASH SPORTS BAR, on the other hand, is open daily from 08.00 to 23.00 hrs. This is the perfect place for sports enthusiasts with options for a drink or snack and a view of various screens, both inside and outside.  There is also a large terrace overlooking the courts and the outdoor pool area, so a great spot to relax with fellow players or family and friends who have come along to watch.

Food service starts with breakfast and continues throughout the day with a wide selection of healthy meals, drinks and snacks.
