Bordering Quinta do Lago and overlooking a picturesque green valley from where it gets its name, Val Verde is a small quiet residential area comprising private villas with pools and 30 low rise apartments which have use of a communal pool and tennis courts.

Val Verde offers the choice of 3 on-site restaurants, including the Green Valley Bistro and Florian as well as the popular Thai Bistro.  There is also a beauty salon, offering a range of treatments and massage. The Quinta Shopping and Bouganvilia Plazas with their shops, bars and restaurants are also within a 10 minutes walk.

The Val Verde holiday apartments consist of studio, 1 and 2 bedroom stylishly furnished and well equipped apartments with free use of the outdoor communal pool (with depth of 0.8m to 2m), children's pool and tennis courts, which they overlook.

All the holiday apartments have a sun terrace or balcony with table/chairs and sunloungers overlooking the pool and garden area. The beach at Quinta do Lago or Dunas Douradas is approximately 5 minutes drive.

Note: The POOL LEVEL APARTMENTS were refurbished in 2014 and several of the upper floor apartments have also undergone some refurbishment.  The furnishings are all of a very good standard.
