Accommodation: 1 spacious apartment sleeping 4 people.
Location: ½ mile from Tavarnelle Val di Pesa with various
shops, 6 miles from BarberinoVal d’Elsa, 19 miles from Florence,
25 miles from Siena and about an hour’s drive from Pisa
and Lucca. A secondary road passes close to the house.
Description: Once an ancient kiln, this building
has been carefully restored and extended using original materials
in a very stylised
manner. It has been divided into 2 apartments, both very well
furnished with superb views over the castle (Castello del Nero)
and the surrounding landscape. Parking is available on-site. One of the apartments is now inhabited by the owner.
The apartment for rent is on the ground floor (accessed by going up 10 stairs from the street level and then by going down another 10 stairs). The apartment has an open-plan living/dining area with satellite
television and kitchen corner with oven/hob, fridge/freezer and dishwasher.
There is
one double bedroom and one twin bedroom with windows high in the walls,
a shower room and a beautiful round shaped bathroom with central
Jacuzzi. A small laundry room is also available with washing
machine, iron and ironing board (the washing machine may be shared with the other apartment).
Facilities: A large fenced garden with garden furniture, a barbecue (shared between the 2 apartments) and shared
use of the large
swimming pool, which measures approximately 15 x 7m, with a
maximum depth of 1.75m (the owners only use occasionally). The pool is open from 1st May to 30
September.
Extra: By
arrangement it is also possible to organise maid service, payable
locally. It is also possible to hire a cot at 52 euros
(approx £50) per week. Please note - there are steps
between and within the 2 properties.
